This Online Privacy Policy (or “Privacy Policy”) describes how JurisTemps, Inc. (also referred to as “JurisTemps,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information obtained from you when you visit our website.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using this website, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy, and our collection, use and sharing of personal information, is further subject to the Terms of Use for this website, located at http://juristemps.com/terms-of-use.

II. HOW WE COLLECT AND USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect any personal information that you voluntarily submit to us while visiting or using this website. This may include your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and other contact information, your resume, references, and other education, employment history, and skills information (for job seekers), and any other personal information that you submit when filling out a form, requesting that we contact you, responding to a survey or questionnaire, or otherwise submitting content on this website.

We use personal information submitted by you to provide you with our services; to communicate with you; to alert you to news, events and other opportunities; to monitor and improve the quality of our services; for any other purposes made apparent at the time of collection; and as otherwise required or permitted under applicable law. Job seeker information is added to our applicant database and compiled with the information of other job seekers for use in the ordinary course of providing our legal staffing services.

III. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Employees/Applicants. If you submit a job application or resume to JurisTemps, we do not share your name or full resume with an employer until you have indicated an interest in pursuing the available position. However, we may post biographic information about job candidates (including education, work experience, and skills) on our website, and send emails and other communications to employers containing descriptions of job candidates as part of the recruiting and placement process. Once you are under consideration for an available position, or become staffed with an employer, we may share additional information with the employer in the ordinary course of providing our legal staffing services.

Service Providers. We may share personal information with third party service providers to verify application and resume information, to conduct background checks, drug screenings, and/or psychological screenings (when required for the available position), and as otherwise reasonably necessary to provide our legal staffing services. We also may share personal information with companies that perform administrative services on our behalf, including companies that provide data processing, web design and hosting, accounting, profit-sharing, payroll, billing, legal, and insurance (including liability, workers compensation, and unemployment) services.

Affiliates and Business Partners. We may share personal information with our affiliated entities and our strategic business partners. These companies and organizations may use the information to contact you regarding information, products, or services that may be of interest, or as otherwise required or permitted under applicable law.

Law Enforcement and Protection. We may disclose your personal information when we believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with applicable law (including a court order or subpoena); to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; or to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the rights, property or safety of our website, other users, or third parties. We reserve the right to report to appropriate law enforcement or government agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be harmful or unlawful, with or without providing notice to you.

Business Transfers. All information submitted by you through our website is treated as a business asset, and may be transferred to another organization that acquires an ownership interest in the stock or assets of our company, including as the result of a sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or liquidation.

IV. REFERRALS

If you provide us with referral information for another job seeker, we may use this information to contact the individual about our legal staffing services. It is your responsibility to ensure that this person is aware that you have forwarded his/her contact information to us, and has allowed you to do so.

V. PRIVACY PRACTICES OF THIRD PARTIES

When we share personal information with third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we relinquish control over how that information is used, shared, and maintained going forward. Therefore, we cannot and do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices or actions of employers or other third parties.

We may send your information to a customer or client for purposes of considering your suitability for employment and/or to a vendor for general statistical analysis, reporting purposes or data management. This may involve transfers of information to jurisdictions that do not ensure protection for personal data equivalent to that available in your jurisdiction.

Although we may provide your personal data, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone numbers etc. to service providers that handle information on our behalf, information will not be shared with third parties for secondary or unrelated purposes (e.g., purposes unrelated to considering your suitability for employment or providing general statistical analysis and reporting, such as candidate activity and demographic reports) unless otherwise disclosed at the point of collection.
